Day 1 – The Memory of the Earth
Arrival and check-in at accommodation in Aquilonia.
A visit to the Ethnographic Museum, one of the landmarks symbolising the rural heritage of Irpinia, to gain an insight into daily life in days gone by, work in the fields and the traditions linked to the land.
A country-style lunch, prepared according to traditional recipes.
In the afternoon, a farming workshop, offering the chance to experience first-hand the techniques, tools and knowledge associated with rural culture.
Free evening.
Day 2 – Villages and rural communities
A trip to Oscata, a small rural hamlet that has preserved the rural spirit of Irpinia intact.
A stroll through the village and an exploration of the local area, taking in stories, simple architecture and everyday life.
A country-style lunch, to round off the experience in a spirit of conviviality.
Farewells and the return journey.
