Day 1 – Urban culture and accessible walks
Arrival and check-in at accommodation in Avellino.
A tour of the city’s main museums, including the Bourbon Prison complex and the cultural hub in the city centre, with accessible routes and spaces designed for a leisurely visit.
Lunch at a selected restaurant.
In the afternoon, take a stroll along Avellino Street, a flat and easily accessible area, ideal for soaking up the atmosphere of the city, stopping off, taking in the sights and spending time together.
Dinner and return to the accommodation.
Day 2 – Accessible archaeology and history
We head to Avella, one of the most important archaeological sites in Irpinia.
An outdoor tour of the Roman tombs, which can be visited without having to tackle any strenuous routes.
A visit to the Archaeological Museum of Avella, which features areas designed for visitors to explore and discover the ancient history of the region.
Closing lunch.
Farewells and the return journey.
