Paestum e la “catena di approvvigionamento d’oro”: tra templi greci e agricoltura sostenibile

An immersive educational journey that combines learning with the discovery of the local area.

A stop that allows students to engage with two absolute highlights of the Salerno area. In Paestum, the encounter with archaeology reaches its peak amidst the Greek temples and the walls of ancient Poseidonia, offering an open-air lesson in history and classical architecture at one of the world’s most important UNESCO sites.

The experience continues with an in-depth look at the local buffalo supply chain, using an exemplary operation like Vannulo as a model. Here, the educational activity moves into the field to observe a cutting-edge production cycle that prioritizes animal welfare and environmental sustainability. From milk processing to the utilization of local resources, students will discover how agricultural tradition can evolve into a modern, ethical, and environmentally conscious economic model.
