Biodiversity and Water: Tour of the Conza WWF Oasis and Environmental Workshops

An immersive educational journey that combines learning with the discovery of the local area.

The Conza WWF Oasis serves as a natural laboratory of inestimable value. During a tour of the Oasis, students can explore the trails skirting the artificial reservoir, which has over time become a vital refuge for numerous migratory bird species. Equipped with binoculars and a keen eye for observation, the young visitors have the opportunity to go birdwatching and gain an understanding of the importance of conserving aquatic habitats.

The experience is enriched by specialized hands-on activities, where scientific theory transforms into active discovery. From studying riparian flora to analyzing water quality, students engage in deep reflection on sustainability and the crucial role that protected areas like this one play in global biodiversity. It is a comprehensive educational experience that fosters respect for the environment and a sense of wonder at the natural world.
